The Worcester Contra Dance will kick off its 2023-24 dance schedule beginning on September 9, 2023. All dances take place from 7:15–10:30 PM on the second Saturday of each month typically from September through June. A beginner's lesson is offered for all new to contra dancing starting at 7:15 p.m. The dance itself starts at 7:30 p.m. All dances are located in the gymnasium (Brewer Hall) at Wesley United Methodist Church, 114 Main St. in Worcester, MA. Gymnasium access is on the left side of the building when viewed from Main Street. The admission fee is $10 to $12 for adults, $6 to $8 for students, and $25 per family.
Please wear soft soled shoes such as dance shoes or clean sneakers in order to prevent damaging the hardwood floor. Mask wearing is OPTIONAL .We will have additional masks available at the admission desk for those who want one.
